It's fair to say that Instagram is one of the most influential social media platforms out there in today's Internet-driven world! With over 1 billion active monthly users and 180 million users in India alone.
And we can see what all the hype is about, with new features like Instagram Reels, which allows you to take advantage of short-format content, it's all the more gaining massive popularity which is why, it can be relatively easy to gain attention through reels if you create content that is engaging, entertaining, and relatable to the people.
As a budding voice over artist in India, you can take advantage of the Voiceover feature that Instagram reels provides you and add your own Voiceovers to your reels. It's a great way to start and showcase your talent through this amazing social media platform to get discovered by people around you. With reels, there are always new trends to look out for, so you can participate, and collaborate with the community to grow your business as a voiceover artist and maybe even go viral!
So, how do you add voiceovers to your reels? Let's see...
First, open your Instagram app, login to your account then tap on the ‘Plus’ icon at the top right of your page.
Choose the Reel option and start creating your reel or you can upload one from your camera roll.
Once you're done recording or uploading, click on the voiceover option (Look for a little microphone at the top, that is your 'Audio' just tap on it then select the 'Voiceover' icon. You can now tap or press hold 'Record' to record your own VO over the audio).
There is an option for you to record multiple voiceover clips for your reel and you can edit your voiceover to where you want it to start by using the slider bar. (Also, If you want to clear your last recorded VO clip, you have to ‘tap back' and then tap 'Discard' to remove it).
You can even adjust your audio by clicking on the 'Controls' button at the top, next to the 'Voiceover' icon.
Instagram has also recently added new features like sound effects which you can easily access by clicking on the 'Audio' button and then tapping on 'Sound Effects' to get a variety of sounds that you can use with your voiceover.
So, now that you've completed recording and editing, you can tap on 'Done', you then have to tap 'Next' to proceed with sharing the reel.
Don't forget to write a captivating or even funny caption with it, type in some hashtags for better reach and voila! You're on your way to being the next Instagram Superstar.
